Lovely American family interested in somebody to provide nanny services for about 20-25 hours per week in the afternoons (roughly 2-7PM) with potentially more hours in the school holidays. Description

2-year-old boy who is very curious, active and loves to chat with adults. The child attends nursery daily until around 3 - 4pm, depending on the day of week. Mum currently stays at home but will start to study full time in August. The work hours will not change but flexibility and adaptability is essential as the family transitions into a new routine.

Responsibilities:

Standard nursery duties

School pick up and after school activities (home play or playground)

Taking the child to activities

Prepare and serve dinner

Cleaning up after meals and tidying up play areas

Child’s laundry and other child related chores

Ideal profile:

Must be comfortable with shared care

Qualifications preferred

Naturally talkative and expressive, enjoy initiating conversation and engaging actively with children. Can model accurate usage of English and create a language-rich environment through interaction.

Can follow instructions and parental preferences

A driver with a full, clean UK licence. Car will be provided for school pick up

Longevity in previous roles and experience with similar age children

Up to date first aid certification and enhanced DBS check.

Newly registered clients with an adorable boy 2 years old who goes to a local nursery are looking for a Nanny to pick him up on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays ( there is an option for 4 or 5 afternoons if the Nanny wanted more hours ). Hours are 3.30-6.30. All after school care duties including pick ups, handover with teachers, coming home and playing games or doing something of an educational nature, preparing evening meal and making sure he eats it!
